Look out they shine for you… :-) so fresh!

Actually it has been a very wet rainy day here in Shropshire and so to brighten the day, I am choosing some of my most recent “Yellow” photographs. Besides, this one should be bright and cheery, it is my 100th blog post! I always think that colours seem to change throughout the year and often become predominantly one whether this is due to nature or man-made. The daffodils have all but finished now but, these Narcissus have been brightening up my days this week from a neighbour’s garden.

Whilst in our own garden, the birds have been the most active on out feeder that I have seen for ages. They all look very smart in Spring I think. No doubt they will look a little more ruffled at the end of the breeding season.

Meanwhile, a little further afield and the first primroses are blooming in the woods and on…

We’ve been working around the clock on our bold new design, destined to become the default view for all photos on Flickr – and we can’t wait to show it to you today!

flickr_ditherTo try out the new look, click the computer icon with 2 dots at the bottom right of any photo page. This will be rolling out over the next 24 hours.

Your photos will be re-envisioned in a glorious black and white Atkinson Dither, removing the distraction of those many many megapixels and stripping your art back to its most original, naked, beautiful form. The new page design has been updated to match the new vintage aesthetic.

We’d love to see your photos in this bold new style. Take a screen shot and upload it tagged with “flickrdither” to share them with the rest of us.

Downloading Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4

I just bought the update from LR 2 to the just released version 4 of Adobe Lightroom. I greatly appreciated the new pricing model: 76 Euros to upgrade is really a bargain to me!

The new version looks really interesting in terms of new features and processing quality. I’m particulary keen to test the Blurb integration to produce a book (expecially about my latest Southwest USA trip).

Here are a couple of links:

I’ll let you know my opinions about the update in a few days! :)

Hello world!

I’m a creative photographer, a traveler, a dreamer.

I’m always looking forward to find and visit new places to discover, and capture with my camera. I take my deepest inspiration from mother nature, and especially love producing pictures about natural landscapes and peaceful scenes.

I also get fascinated by urban landscapes and scenarios: I love architecture as long as it describes a tension which goes beyond the pure and simple lines of a building.

I always try to capture the underlying and hidden meaning within a scene, a shape, a moment.

Enjoy my pictures!
